EDIT: I didn't expect this image to reach so far. I understand everyone has their own opinion which they are entitled to, all I ask is that comments are not rude or hurtful and are kept respectful. If it is not to your taste please hide it from your newsfeed.Thank you!!

I photographed this mama's pregnancy a while back and she was telling me how terrified she was of having a c-section. Well last
week she went into labor but had to have an emergency c-section after complications. She asked me to come over this morning and shoot this particular image as her worst nightmare proved to be what saved her and her child's lives.

Please feel free to share and tag image, however please do not crop alter or remove watermark.

Jaime King's Struggle To Fall Pregnant

Actress and model Jaime King has revealed her struggle to becoming pregnant and having a healthy child.

In her honest Instragram post, the 'Hart of Dixie' star shares her personal obstacles to having her precious son James Knight.
"For all the struggling women & moms out there that think they are alone – This is the truth about conceiving my son and struggles after," she shared online on Friday.
"8 yrs of pain and undiagnosed PCOS & Endometriosis.  9 doctors until Dr. Randy Harris diagnosed me & saved my life from a severe ectopic, 5 miscarriages, 5 rounds of IVF, 26 IUI's, most with no outcome, 4½ years of trying to conceive," she revealed to her Insty followers.
She also revealed she experienced: "26 hours of brutal labor, early delivery b/c of sudden preeclampsia, tearing and tearing after the stitches were in once I was home, milk supply issues, painful mastitis, uncontrollable crying while breast feeding," she wrote.
Jaime also told of her need to overdo herself, instead of focusing all her energy on herself and the new baby. New mums: we do this! We must stop this!

'Reacting To My Own Birth (ft. Mom)' - Tyler Oakley: VIDEO

Have you ever wondered how your child would react if they saw the video of their own birth?

Then watch this.

It is so funny and heartwarming and... don't worry, the icky bits are blacked out (I don't think childbirth is icky at all; it's a miracle and wonderful and a joy to experience… it's just that, I don't think you would like to see mine, and I probs don't want to see the full extent of yours).

This video was uploaded by an hilarious YouTuber I have never heard of until now: Tyler Oakley.

He describes himself like this:

"I'm basically a Professional Fangirl. Here you'll find plenty sassiness and beauty and fabulousness!"

I love him already.

More on Tyler in a minute. First, watch the video:

How funny and emotional. What would your kids' reactions be?

Tyler himself says of the video:

"If you're reading THIS, I'm so sorry for this video. My mom thought it'd be hilarious, and I thought y'all would cringe as much as I did... SO HERE WE ARE. If you cringed, push LIKE. If you screamed, let me know in the comments. If you're reading this, include, "MAMA JACKIE" in your comment. Thanks to everyone who is still donating to http://prizeo.com/tyler - we are SO CLOSE to half a million dollars raised for charity! Go donate! :]"

Do you have a birth video of your child or children? Would you show them?

If you don't have one, do you regret not taking one?

Baby's Emotional Reaction to Mother's Song (Original)

I defy you not to be moved by this video:

Says the YouTube description:

"Nothing is stronger than the bond between mother and child. This certainly rings true at the Leroux household in Ontario, Canada. Their daughter loves one of her mom's songs so much, it send her into floods of tears, every time she hears it. Mom Amanda Leroux told Storyful: "No one can explain why, not even I. I can sing any other song and do not get the same reaction from her. It's to adorable to keep all to ourselves." Credit:Alain Leroux."

How utterly divine and pure is the mother/child bond? Do you sing to your child?

Tracey Annan - Mum of the Year 2013: Australian Mother & Baby Magazine Awards

The Mum of the Year was announced on Tuesday September 25, 2013, at the second annual Australian Mother & Baby Magazine Awards.

Industry professionals, media, bloggers and award contenders gathered for a high tea at Deckhouse, Woolwich to celebrate this year’s best and most innovative products for mum and baby. The Mum of the Year Award recognises the outstanding determination, love and strength of special mothers who’ve experienced great hardship, grief or exceptional circumstances.

The deserving winner of a year’s worth of groceries from Coles and the title of Mum of the Year was 41 year old Tracey Annan of Mt Warrigal, NSW.

Tracey is mother to Jaimi Lee, 14, Nathaniel, 11, and Wilson, 9. Tracey’s son, Nathaniel was born prematurely at 24 weeks. He faced many medical complications early on in life and was also diagnosed with autism. After a long battle with mental illness, Tracey’s husband, Mark, took his own life, leaving her to raise the family alone.

Tracey has since turned her life around, enrolling in a double-degree university course and is working three part-time jobs to provide for her family. She also dedicates her time to volunteer for multiple organisations, including the local primary school and the Watershed Drug and Alcohol Recovery and Education Centre.

“After Mark’s death, I was frightened and unsure how I would raise three children on my own - and care for one who had special needs. I knew I had to be strong and carry on for my children. It would have been easy for me to drift along aimlessly but my kids were my inspiration. I spend every spare minute outside of work and study with them. I hope I can inspire others to use their hardships as motivation to help them achieve their dreams. More importantly, I hope to set a good example for my children, with a bit of hard work and determination anything is possible.”
Tracey has been awarded with a year’s supply of groceries from Coles to the value of $10,400. As a single Mum of three children, who works three jobs, studies and volunteers, Tracey is a deserving winner. The year’s supply of groceries is sure to relieve a lot of financial pressure, allowing Tracey more freedom and time to spend with her family.

“Being a good mum is about loving and being with your kids. Mums can be tough and not only survive, but survive well!”

What an utterly incredible and inspiring woman Tracey is. Huge congratulations to you, Tracey. You are the definition of resilient, and have proven you can turn your life around in the face of adversity.
