Baby's Emotional Reaction to Mother's Song (Original)

I defy you not to be moved by this video:

Says the YouTube description:

"Nothing is stronger than the bond between mother and child. This certainly rings true at the Leroux household in Ontario, Canada. Their daughter loves one of her mom's songs so much, it send her into floods of tears, every time she hears it. Mom Amanda Leroux told Storyful: "No one can explain why, not even I. I can sing any other song and do not get the same reaction from her. It's to adorable to keep all to ourselves." Credit:Alain Leroux."

How utterly divine and pure is the mother/child bond? Do you sing to your child?

'The Kidstore' Halloween Dress-up and Dolls

Happy Halloween!

Oh, go on... you know this event is now garnering more and more popularity in Australia.

Are you in? Do you celebrate it? My five year old twins, my daughter in particular, is so into the whole dress up thing. Any excuse for it, really.

So, where do you go for dress up costumes? Cheapie stores? Expensive costume shops?

I had no idea I could find stuff at a kid's clothing store. Yeah, I know. I don't get out much.

I have recently discovered the fantastic chain of Aussie kiddie stores called... 'The Kidstore'. Cool name... it's so obvious! A kid's store - for kid's stuff! My children and I were invited to an event recently to celebrate its expansion, and they took part in a photo shoot. Here are the results:

Kidstore have loads of Halloween costumes for sale... and they're inexpensive!

Here are some:

Also... they are giving away a Halloween doll for 'TwinnieWorld' readers. But you must be quick. Here they are, three up for grabs, $15 each.

Email me at josiegags@optusnet.com.au with your details (name and address, and they will send it straight to you!)

If you don't already, 'like' the Josie's Juice blog Facebook page, and give the Kidstore FB page a 'like', too.

Have you left your kids scary outfits to the last minute? Yep, me too! The Kidstore, people!

Dad Lip Synchs Daughter's Temper Tantrum

This is GOLD.

This father lip-synched his six-year-old daughter's temper tantrum outside her bedroom door.

Do you ever do this? You know, make fun of your child's tantrum?

It's not as mad - and cruel - as it sounds.

It's not something I do regularly, but... at the right moment (high pitched squeals) in the right environment (at home, or in the car when these kinda distractions can drive you nuts), it can diffuse an epic, ridiculous, about-nothing-at-all tantrum.

And: bonus side effect... my kids fall about in fits of laughter, or do that half-cry, half-laugh thing which is completely hilarious, endearing, and breaks the tension of a silly tanty likethat.

'Super Buddies': DVD GIVEAWAY

Disney’s beloved - and way cute - buddies are back in a hilariously fun new movie for the whole family. Making its home entertainment debut on October 2, 2013, Super Buddies is an action-packed adorbs little canine adventure starring those cer-azy talking puppies!

The new Super Buddies DVD has been released on October 2, 2013.

Here is the suuuper-cute DVD cover:
There's Rosebud, B-Dawg, Budderball, Buddha and Mudbud who all, er, em ‘bark’ on their biggest adventure yet, as the caped crusaders race to stop a shape-shifting outer space bully who threatens to destroy the planet. Damn those bullies! They even make it on kiddie flicks. They must be stopped!

The all-star cast includes John Ratzenberger (‘Brave’ and ‘Cars’), Michael Teigan (‘Tron: Legacy’) and Jason Earles (‘Hannah Montana’), who all band together in an effort to kick major butt, er, tail without revealing their new secret identities.

After finding five mysterious rings during Bartelby’s birthday treasure hunt, the Buddies gain super powers and things suddenly get out of this world in Fernfield. After learning that Budderball’s favourite comic books - Captain Canine and Kid Courageous - are based on real super heroes and villains, the Buddies find themselves using their new super powers to battle the evil, shape shifting alien, Commander Drex, who is bent on capturing the rings and conquering the universe. The Buddies and their kids learn that you don’t need super powers to be a super hero. No, siree, you don't!

This must have movie is packed with laughter, action and incredible new characters, and my in-house critics and movie reviewers (aka, my five year old twins) adore this movie. It's instantly likeable, even if they aren't familiar with the characters.
